The system is ideal for retrofitting into Heritage buildings with preservation orders, it can be installed without interfering with the structure and operates at low temperatures to preserve the décor and building contents. Using huge volumes of energy to heat old stone building with large volumes of space cannot be sustained, Eco4 heating saves such buildings from becoming derelict and turns then into viable places of worship, or for socialising or renting.
Heating old buildings sustainably requires a reduction of 50% on energy demand, which Eco4 can deliver and likewise a 60% reduction in primary energy. Reducing the primary energy is easily facilitated by integrating heat pump technology. The system features self-adhesive structured panels applied to a clean dry surface, the network of pipes is designed specifically to match the building’s needs, the light thermal compound creates the perfect smooth finished floor. The Eco4 thermal compound instantly transmits energy into the space while the structured panel strengthens the floor to accept all types of floors covering.

One of the main challenges in radiant floor heating systems has always been temperature control. Traditional systems used thermostats and time clocks to regulate heating in each room.
