Geothermal Heat Pump
A geothermal heating system uses the heat from the Earth to heat buildings. The heat is collected from the ground using underground pipes filled with a water and antifreeze solution, which is then pumped through a heat exchanger to warm the air or water used for heating the building.
Geothermal energy is heat energy which is stored in the earth, streams, lakes and water table. It is at a constant temperature throughout the year.
