1. FREE – FARM ENERGY ASSESSMENT

3. OBTAIN NECESSARY PERMISSIONS AND APPROVAL

Research and obtain any necessary permits and approvals required by local authorities, utility companies, or agricultural agencies. This may include building permits, electrical permits, zoning approvals, and interconnection agreements. Ensure compliance with any specific regulations related to solar installations on farms or agricultural land.

4. INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING

Schedule the installation in coordination with the farm’s operations to minimize disruption. Install the solar panels on rooftops, ground-mounted racks, or other appropriate structures, ensuring proper mounting and secure connections. Install inverters, wiring, and any required monitoring systems. Conduct thorough testing and commissioning to ensure the system is functioning optimally.

5. SYSTEM INTEGRATION AND MONITORING

Integrate the solar panel system with the farm’s electrical infrastructure, including the connection to the utility grid if applicable. Configure any necessary net metering or feed-in tariff agreements to enable the farm to export excess electricity or receive credits.
