1. Book a site assessment

2. Plan the layout

Determine the areas where you want to install the underfloor heating system. Consider the size and shape of the rooms, furniture placement, and any obstacles or architectural features that may affect the installation. Create a detailed plan or layout diagram.

3. Cost Estimation

Prepare a comprehensive cost estimate that includes the equipment, installation, labor, permits, and any other associated expenses. Provide the client with a clear breakdown of the costs involved, including any potential incentives or rebates available for renewable energy installations. Assist the client in obtaining any necessary approvals, permits, or certifications required

4. Procurement and Installation

Once the project is approved, procure the necessary equipment and materials. Coordinate with the installation team to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process. Regularly communicate with the client to provide updates on the project progress.

5. Prepare the subfloor

Ensure the subfloor is clean, level, and free from any debris.
Install insulation boards if recommended or required by Eurotech Renewables to enhance the system’s efficiency.
If necessary, mark the positions for the manifold and control system.

6. Install the manifold and control system

Follow the provided instructions to mount the manifold and control system in the designated location.
Connect the flow and return pipes to the manifold.

7. Lay the PEX pipes & Connect the pipes

Lay the PEX pipes

Starting from the manifold, lay the PEX pipes according to your layout plan, ensuring proper spacing between pipes (usually around 150-200 mm).
Secure the pipes in place using clips or brackets.
Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the pipes to maintain optimal water flow.

Conect the pipes:

Use the provided connectors to join the pipes together, following Eurotech Renewables’ guidelines.
Use crimping tools or other suitable methods to create secure connections.

8. Pressure test the system & Cover the pipes

Before covering the pipes, conduct a pressure test to ensure there are no leaks. Follow the instructions provided by Eurotech Renewables for this step.

Depending on the flooring material you plan to use, cover the PEX pipes with suitable insulation, such as screed, self-leveling compound, or insulation boards.

9. Install the thermostat

Follow the instructions provided by Eurotech Renewables to install the thermostat in a suitable location. Ensure proper electrical connections and programming.

10. Test and commission the system

Once the installation is complete, fill the system with water and follow the startup procedures provided by Eurotech Renewables.
Test the underfloor heating system to ensure it’s functioning properly.
Make any necessary adjustments or corrections if required.
